Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University (1990). From 1990 to 1993, Assistant at the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law at the University of Silesia. Fellowship at DePaul University in Chicago, USA; internships at American and Danish law firms (1993). Graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology at the University of Warsaw (2009). Doctorate in Legal Theory at the Institute of Legal Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (2014).

 
Bar apprenticeship commenced in 1992. Bar examination passed (1996). From 2007 to 2016, Member of the Regional Bar Council in Katowice; from 2016 to 2021, Member of the Supreme Bar Council of Poland. Recipient of the "Distinguished Service to the Bar" decoration.

 

Practice Areas: Civil Law and Commercial Law.

 

Co-founder of the Association for European Integration (1989); co-founder and President of the Polish chapter of Young European Federalists (JEF-Poland, 1992). From 2017 to 2023, Vice-Chair of the Bioethics Committee at the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Institute of Oncology in Gliwice. Author of publications in the fields of legal theory, bar governance, and contemporary history.
